| Setting up a miniPAL | |
| Setting up a miniPAL is a simple, quick process. However, there are two important things you need to know before you start. First, you must be a member of Dadooda to set up a miniPAL. Second, every miniPAL must nominate an Organiser who is responsible for organising it and for making any payments due. When you set up a miniPAL you are by default its first Organiser. To set up a miniPAL, simply log in to Dadooda as usual and select MY PAL. Then choose the menu item Set Up a New miniPAL and enter a name for your miniPAL. You can choose a fun or formal name for your miniPAL, depending on its purpose. However, we recommend you consider a name that other members of the miniPAL will recognise or identify with. The name must be between 6 and 30 characters. You can change it at any time. When you’ve entered the name, just click on the Set Up miniPAL button. That’s all there is to it! Once your miniPAL has been set up we recommend you familiarise yourself with the Organiser Menu options. In particular you may wish to select menu item Update Profile and enter a brief description of your miniPAL. This will appear on your miniPAL’s Profile page. When you are ready to invite other people to join your miniPAL you will need to activate it by selecting menu item Activate this miniPAL. You will be asked to choose a price plan and pay the first subscription. As soon as your miniPAL is activated you can start inviting other people to join your miniPAL. Just select menu item Invite Members to Join. All you have to do is enter the email addresses of the people you want to invite and Dadooda takes care of the rest! Now your miniPAL is up and running and you and the other members
can start to create your very own multimedia library! |
