Almost any subject is suitable for a Video item. You might start
out by uploading video clips of interesting places you’ve
visited while on your travels or amusing moments you’ve
captured. But why not branch out? Browse through our list of subjects
for inspiration!
To submit a Video item to Dadooda you must complete the Video
template. To open the template, simply log in to Dadooda, select
Submit New Item and then click on the Video icon.
A Video item contains the following elements:
Subject: Select a Subject Group and Subject
for your Video from our preset list.
Title: Enter a title of up to 50 characters.
Introduction: Write an Introduction to your
Video. It can contain up to 500 characters (about 80 words).
Video Clip: Your video clip can be up to 100
megabytes in size. Use the Browse buttons to locate the video
file on your computer.
Submitting a Video item involves two simple steps. First, upload
your video file. Second, select a Subject for your item, give
it a Title and add an Introduction to it.
You will be able to review your Video item as it will appear
on Dadooda and, if necessary, edit any element of it or replace
the video clip. It will be published exactly as you submit it
so we recommend you review if for completeness in all respects.
Please ensure your completed Video item complies with
our Standards of Publication.
When you are satisfied with your Video item you can submit it
for publication. When it has been published you will receive a
confirmation email from Dadooda.
Tips
- Your title should be directly relevant to the subject of your
Video item – not vague or cryptic.
- Include and repeat keywords in your Introduction –
use words or phrases you would enter
if you were searching for your Video.
- If you don’t want to write an Introduction you should
always type in some relevant keywords to help direct Internet
search engines to your Video.
